Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust ®, was established in the year 1973 by Sri Sri Sri. Ramanandanatha Mahaswamiji, the peethadhipathi of the Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Mutt at NagamangalaTaluk, Mandya District, Karnataka, INDIA.

Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R) under the divine leadership of His Holiness Byraivaikya Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji (71st Guruji) who expanded the educational Opportunities.

Initially the Trust was formed with the aims and objectives as follows...

• To advance the cause of Education and diffusion of Knowledge without distinction of caste and creeds.
• To achieve that objects, to maintain, manage and run the existing institutions of the Trust.
• To further advance the cause of education by establishing a rural college for the benefit of the students of the surrounding areas.
• To provide free boarding and lodging for the needy students in the hostel.
• To establish maintain and manage hostels library reading room, gymnasium and playgrounds for the benefit of the students studying in the above Institutions.
• To give loans scholarships and other monetary benefits to the needy students studying in the higher classes.
• To provide medical and health facilities to the people of the area by starting hospitals and dispensaries.

In its journey of commitments to the nation for more than Four Decades, the Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust has established numerous educational institutions running mainly in Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Ayurvedic, Engineering, Management, Science Education, Pre-university education, General Education etc. With the divine blessings of His Holy Soul and the vision and wishes of 71st Guruji is fulfilling by the 72nd pontiff of the Mutt Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Maha Swamiji, President, Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust(R). The trust is managed by a board of trustees and the chairman of the trust is the present pontiff His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji. The Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust (R), with a view to propagate education, research and service to humanity at large. The trust is managing More than 480 Educational Institutions with strength of 1.0 million students, inclusive of 2 Medical Colleges, 2 Ayurvedic Medical Colleges, 4 Engineering Colleges, 2 Nursing Colleges, 2 Pharmacy Colleges, 4 International Schools, 7 Central Schools, 2 Schools for Blind, 5 Polytechnics and many High Schools and Pre-University Colleges under the Trust. Most of them are situated in the rural parts of Karnataka, Salem and Erode districts of Tamil Nadu and New Delhi to provide abundant opportunities to the rural masses of our country.
