Adichunchanagiri University-BGSIT has contributed Rs.11 lakhs
Towards the development of Brahmadevarahalli Gram Panchayathi, Nagamangala Taluk, Mandya District.

Details as given below:

Social developmental activities

• A new R.O drinking water plant was installed at the cost of Rs 6 lakhs in Samakahalli Students of Adichunchanagiri University-BGSIT conducted NSS camp in Brahmadevanahalli villages and created health awareness by cleaning unhygienic areas including blocked drainages etc.
• Renovation of Kalyani in Chottakyatanahalli temple, Brahmadevanahalli was completed and steps were taken to prevent pollution.
• BGS Rangamandira is constructed by renovating the old building in Brahmadevanahalli and is open for public functions.
• The construction of Samudayabhavana in Brahmadevanahalli is under progress in association with Gram Pancha.
• The tree plantation program is implemented effectively.
• Identified houses without toilets and toilets were constructed with the help of Gram Panchayath, Brahmadevanahalli Gram Panchayath is now declared as open defecation free.
• With the association of Kaveri Grameena Bank, ATM was opened in Brahmadevanahalli for public access.
• All the residents of Brahmadevanahalli have bank account and do transactions Adichunchanagiri University-BGSIT initiated the establishment of the Seva Sindhu center with the help of Brahmadevanahalli Gram Pancchayath.
• The polluted stepwell in Brahmadevarahalli was closed and the entire area is planted with saplings.

Promotion of Education

• Preprimary education

Renovation works of all the 11 anganwadis of Brahmadevarahalli GP were completed and now they have classrooms, a kitchen, storeroom, and toilet facilities. Walls of anganwadis arepainted with study material (Nalikali) and provided with green boards, notice boards for better learning.

Lower and Higher Primary education

Renovation and painting of all the 5 Government Lower Primary Schools and also 6 Government Higher Primary Schools was completed. The schools were provided with library facilities including books and racks. 40 computers are given to schools to promote computer literacy. The small garden was established in the school premises.

High School Education

A Playground with a viewer’s gallery was constructed at Sri Ramanandhanatha Mahaswamiji High School, Brahmadevarahalli to conduct state-level sports and functions.

Health Promotions

Primary Health Centers , Brahamadevanahalli was provided with a dining table and seating facilities for the patients.A medicinal garden was created in the hospital premises.

• Adichunchanagiri Hospital and Research Centre conducted free eye check-up camps and health camps and created health awareness among the public.
• Organized ,,awareness programmes on Covid-19 pandemic to prevent spread of infection.
• Health cards were issued for the residents of Brahmadevarahalli.
